It's really sad that this page was shut down. I loved the show when I was a kid and was so in love with Jason. Would have loved to talk about the show with other fans all over the world.
I started to watch it on YouTube again and I'm still addicted to it. I'm so thankful that there are all episodes now online, but I've ordered season one on ebay too, was impossible to get it here.

Zwar wurde das Forum tatsächlich geschlossen, jedoch könnte die ORCA-Onlinewelt jederzeit ins Netz gestellt werden. Verhindert wird dies durch die Jonathan M. Shiff - Produktions persönlich, die auf ihrem Urheberrecht bestehen und keine Form von Benutzung ihrer Materialien gestatten.
Offensichtlich ist man dort an einer aktiven und engagierten Community nicht interessiert. Vielmehr hat es den Anschein, als wolle man die eigenen guten und kreativen Ideen lieber sterben lassen als engagierten Fans die Chance zu geben, sie am Leben zu erhalten...
Was bleibt, ist die bittere Erkenntnis, dass auch hinter der wunderbaren OG-Welt letztendlich nichts anderes steckt als kleinkarrierte, profitorientierte und millionenschwere Geschäftemacher, für die die Fans ihrer Produkte nichts anderes sind als ein Haufen von Goldeseln, die es zu melken gilt...
Wir alle hätten uns gewünscht, der OG-Community ein neues und angemessenes Zuhause geben zu können, doch das wird wohl leider nichts...

is not quite right! Indeed the panel is now closed, but the virtual ORCA-online world could be published in the internet anytime. It is just averted by Jonathan M. Shiff Productions standing on their copyright and not giving permission to use their materials in any way.
Obviously JMS isn't interested in a commited and active community. It rather seems as if they rather want their good and creative ideas getting lost than giving commited fans the chance to keep them alive.
Finally there is just the bitter awareness that even the wonderful OG-world just traces back to nothing else but narrow-minded, profit-orientated and filthy rich profiteers for which the fans of their products are nothing else but cash cows that need being milked.
We all would have been very happy to give the OG-community a new and appropriate home but unfortunately we probably won't accomplish that goal.

Hallo! Hat Euch die Geschichte um Neri tief bewegt und seit auch ihr sehr traurig darüber, dass man Neri beerdigen will, obwohl sie ganz offensichtlich noch in so vielen von uns "lebt"? Seit auch ihr davon überzeugt, dass wir zusammen vielleicht nicht wie sie die Welt retten, sie aber doch ein kleines Stück besser machen können? Dann kommt in das neue Forum ORCA-Online und helft mit, Neri und ihre Welt virtuell Wiederzubeleben!

To my delight I found the Ocean Girl DVD on Ebay a few weeks ago, after so many years of not seeing it, it stills blows me away!
I absolutely love it! I can't wait for season 2.
